Simpro has manufactured systems and machines capable of performing specific activities on the rolling stock movable parts, such as assembly and disassembly for testing and maintenance purposes.

Wheel Coupling Solidity

This machine is intended for performing coupling solidity tests on wheels coupled to some wheel set models (combination of wheel and rotating shaft) for railway use. The machine is semi-automatic and carries out the different operations in a sequence of automatic steps controlled both visually and through a display by an operator standing outside the machine working area.

Wheel Uncoupling

This machine is intended for uncoupling the wheels of some railway locomotive and bogie models, i.e. it performs the removal of the wheels from their own rotating shaft without using any fastening parts.

Disc Uncoupling

This machine is intended for uncoupling the brake discs in order to perform coupling solidity tests on some locomotive and wagon models. Such operations include the removal of the brake discs from their own rotating shaft without using any fastening parts, and the marking of the relevant drawing number on them.
