General Motors Recalls Over 18,000 Vehicles Due to Brake Line Concerns

General Motors (GM) has announced a recall of 18,235 commercial vehicles in the United States due to safety concerns related to the brake lines. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) reported that the brake lines may not have adequate clearance from the body mounts, which could lead to damage and potential brake fluid leaks.

The affected vehicles include specific models of the Chevrolet Express Cutaway and GMC Savana Cutaway, manufactured between 2013 and 2019. GM is taking this precautionary measure to address the issue and ensure the safety of drivers and passengers. Owners of the recalled vehicles will be notified and provided with instructions for necessary repairs to prevent any brake-related failures. This recall underscores GM's commitment to maintaining high safety standards and addressing potential risks proactively.
