Koil Energy Solutions, previously known as Deep Down, has announced the acquisition of a significant maintenance contract for an undisclosed offshore oil and gas platform. Based in Houston, the subsea energy equipment and services specialist will handle essential operations, including the removal, welding, termination, and commissioning of specialty alloy tubing for chemical injection and hydraulic control, along with the termination and testing of electrical cables.

The scope of the project also involves supplying a topside umbilical termination assembly and subsea commissioning logic caps. While the financial details of the contract remain undisclosed, Koil Energy indicates that the client is an unnamed international oil and gas company.
