🌊🚀 TEAMER Opens Applications for 15th Round of Marine Energy Projects!
The Testing Expertise and Access for Marine Energy Research (TEAMER) program, backed by the U.S. Department of Energy and managed by the Pacific Ocean Energy Trust, has launched its 15th request for technical support. This initiative offers marine energy technology developers the chance to collaborate with top testing facilities to advance their projects.
Applications for this round are due by February 7, 2025. Participants are encouraged to prepare early and align their technical objectives with potential partner facilities. Only TEAMER-approved facilities will provide support, ensuring high-quality testing environments.
Currently, 34 applications from the previous round are under review. TEAMER recently added the Bourne Tidal Test Site in Massachusetts, enhancing opportunities for open-water testing of tidal devices. This effort underscores the U.S. government's commitment to advancing marine energy technologies.
