Australian-based Vast Renewables Limited is partnering with Houston's GGS Energy to develop Project Bravo, their first U.S.-based clean energy project, deploying concentrated solar power (CSP) technology in the Southwest. Project Bravo aims to provide carbon-free heat and electricity to produce green methanol and sustainable aviation fuel. This builds on Vast's Solar Methanol 1 plant in Australia. The partnership, hailed by both companies as a significant step toward decarbonizing energy for sectors like shipping and aviation, underscores CSP’s role in advancing low-cost, sustainable fuel production.
