At its 2024 TechEd conference, SAP unveiled major AI updates, including Joule, an AI copilot equipped with collaborative agents designed to streamline complex workflows, initially focusing on finance tasks like dispute management and accounting. By year-end, Joule aims to support 80% of SAP’s top business functions and will integrate with Microsoft Copilot for expanded cross-platform capabilities. SAP also launched a Knowledge Graph, intended to improve AI accuracy by grounding data in SAP’s business semantics, easing integration and reducing manual modeling. Additionally, SAP's Integration Suite is adding new connectors, real-time response features, and AI optimization tools, with a Starter Edition set to release this year.
