🔋🌊 RWE Receives Approval for 100 MW Offshore Wind-to-Hydrogen Project in Eemshaven 🇳🇱

Germany’s RWE has secured essential construction and environmental permits to build a 100 MW electrolyzer in Eemshaven, the Netherlands, as part of a green hydrogen initiative linked to its OranjeWind offshore wind project with TotalEnergies. The electrolyzer will produce green hydrogen by harnessing power from the 795 MW wind farm in the North Sea. This project forms part of RWE’s broader commitment to renewable energy and industrial decarbonization across Northern Europe. RWE is also progressing with an additional 50 MW electrolyzer nearby, though both projects await final investment decisions.
