Prysmian Group has signed a €700 million framework agreement with French TSO RTE to develop power cable links for the Fos and Narbonnaise offshore wind projects. The deal includes the engineering, construction, and installation of 225 kV HVAC export cables, spanning approximately 640 km combined.

𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀:

Timeline: Contracts to be finalized in 2026-2027; delivery set for 2031-2032.

Production: Land cables made in Gron, France; submarine cables in Italy and Finland.

Capacity: Each project will provide 750 MW of clean energy.

Installation: Prysmian’s proprietary vessels will handle operations.
