Kanadevia Inova, a Swiss waste-to-energy technology company, has acquired the British investor Iona Capital Limited (ICL), marking a significant step in expanding its biogas activities. The acquisition includes ICL's portfolio of eleven renewable gas plants in the UK and a robust pipeline of projects worldwide.

Previously focused on business development, engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC), this deal will enable Kanadevia Inova to enhance its capabilities in renewable gas plant ownership and management. By integrating these functions through its "Asset Management" unit, the company moves closer to its goal of becoming a global, vertically integrated green utility while boosting its recurring revenue base.
