Approval Granted for Tüttendorf Wind Farm Repowering: New 49.6 MW Capacity

Energiequelle GmbH and European Energy A/S have received approval to repower a wind farm in Tüttendorf, Schleswig-Holstein. The project will involve constructing eight new Vestas V162 wind turbines, each with a capacity of 6.2 MW, increasing the wind farm's total capacity from 12.5 MW to 49.6 MW. The new turbines will generate approximately 120,000 MWh of electricity annually. The local community will be directly involved through the Bürgerenergiegesellschaft BWP Tüttendorf, which will become a co-owner. Existing turbines will be dismantled before the new ones are installed.
