Germany is taking bold steps towards a sustainable future with its new draft hydrogen import strategy!
The plan, set to be agreed upon on July 24th, aims for a diversified import structure for green hydrogen, leveraging pipelines from countries like Denmark, Norway, the UK, and eventually northern Africa.
Key Highlights:
Green & Low-Carbon Hydrogen: Emphasis on green hydrogen from renewables, but also allowing low-carbon hydrogen, including natural gas-derived hydrogen with CO2 capture.
State Support Programs: Utilizing H2Global, IPCEI, and climate contracts to build a robust supply system.
